Biography
Rebecka comes from Gothenburg, Sweden. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Engineering Physics in 2018 and a Master of Science in Physics and Astronomy in 2020 at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg. She is currently employed as a PhD student under supervision of Eva Olsson studying electron microscopy of organic electronics used in neuropharmaceuticals.

Research Interests

• Investigating polymer films in neuromorphic devices and organic electronics with cell interfaces using advanced electron microscopy techniques. The goal is to increase the knowledge about the micro- and nanostructure of these material systems and in-vivo manufacture pharmaceuticals targeting neurodegenerative diseases.  

• Main techniques include SEM, ESEM, FIB-SEM, TEM, liquid phase TEM, and x-ray techniques such as EDX.​
