Erik Olsén

Biography
Born and raised in Gothenburg, Sweden. Erik earned a Bachelors of Science in Engineering Physics from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, in 2016. He is currently doing his Master of Science thesis in Applied Physics, which is estimated to be finished in spring 2018.

Research Interests
  • Currently studying the plasmonic properties in self-assembled gold and palladium nanoparticles using cathodoluminescence.
  •  Previous research focused on simulations of electron energy loss spectroscopy on nanoparticles systems using MNPBEM toolbox and development of equipment and software for optical holography. 
  • Main techniques: SEM, TEM, optical holography and MNPBEM toolbox.
