Biography

Shun obtained his Ph.D. at the University of Tokyo in March 2016 under the supervision of professors Yuichi Ikuhara and Naoya Shibata. He then started postdoctoral research at Kyoto University with the Element Strategy Initiative for Structural Materials (ESISM) project from 2016 to 2019. In June 2019, he obtained the Overseas Research Fellowships from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), and joined Eva Olsson Group as a postdoctoral researcher.

Research Interests
  • In situ (scanning) transmission electron microscopy
  • Texture, atomic structures, electric structures of crystalline defects (dislocation, grain boundary, interface etc.) in oxides
